Probable rRNA-processing protein EBP2 isoform 2, EBNA1 binding protein 2, EBP2, NOBP, P40, EBNA1BP2, Nucleolar protein p40.

EBNA1BP2 is a part of the EBP2 family which is required for the processing of the 27S pre-rRNA. EBNA1BP2 interacts with EBV EBNA1. EBNA1-EBP2 interaction is essential for the stable segregation of EBV episomes throughout cell division.

Recombinant Human EBNA1BP2 produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 329 amino acids (1-306) and having a molecular mass of 37.2kDa.
EBNA1BP2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile filtered colorless solution.

The EBNA1BP2 solution (0.5mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 10% glycerol, 0.4M Urea.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 80% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
