Phosphoribosyl Pyrophosphate Synthetase-Associated Protein 2 (PRPSAP2) is a protein which relates with the enzyme phosphoribosylpyrophosphate synthetase (PRS). PRS catalyzes the formation of phosphoribosylpyrophosphate which is a substrate for synthesis of purine, pyrimidine, histidine, tryptophan and NAD. PRS is a complex with 2 catalytic subunits and 2 associated subunits. PRPSAP2 encodes a non-catalytic associated subunit of PRS.

PRPSAP2 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 392 amino acids (1-369) and having a molecular mass of 43.3kDa. PRPSAP2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

The PRPSAP2 solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 20% glycerol and 1mM DTT.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
