The target of Nivolumab is PD-1. PD-1 are present on the surface of cells and have become an emerging target of immune checkpoint inhibitors for numerous cancers. PD-1 inhibitors act by inhibiting the association of PD-1 with Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). The interaction of PD-1/PDL-1 is involved in t was first approved by ihe suppression of the immune system to limit the killing of host cells and prevent autoimmune disease.
