storage:The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20℃,-80℃. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20℃,-80℃.
Notes:Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4℃ for up to one week.
background:Acts as a CD40 functional homolog to prevent apoptosis of infected B-lymphocytes and drive their proliferation. Functions as a constitutively active tumor necrosis factor receptor that induces the activation of several signaling pathways, including those of the NF-kappa-B family. LMP1 signaling leads to up-regulation of antiapoptotic proteins and provide growth signals in latently infected cells. Interacts with host UBE2I and subsequently affects the sumoylation state of several cellular proteins. For example, induces the sumoylation of host IRF7 thereby limiting its transcriptional activity and modulating the activation of innate immune responses.

文献和实验Genetic Analysis and Gene Expression with Mini-Epstein-Barr Virus Plasmids
have been found to be essential genetically for the process of immortalization: the EBV nuclear antigens EBNA2, EBNA3a, and EBNA3c, and the latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) (1 –5 ). Since EBNA1 maintains the status of the EBV genomes in the proliferating B cells
Assaying the Activity of Kinases Regulated by LMP1
Latent infection of B lymphocytes by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) results in the immortalization of the infected cells (1 ,2 ). In vitro, expression of latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) is essential for the proliferation of EBV-immortalized B
Epstein Barr virus (EBV) efficiently immortalizes human B cells in vitro generating lymphoblastoid cell lines (LCL) with indefinite lifespan. Latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) belongs to a set of nine viral proteins expressed
