LS-F27944 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Rat FOS / c-FOS in samples of Plasma and Serum. It is based upon a Competitive EIA assay principle and can be used to detect levels of FOS / c-FOS as low as 0.1 nanograms per millilter.

This kit is for the detection of V-Fos FBJ Murine Osteosarcoma Viral Oncogene Homolog FOS / c-FOS. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between FOS / c-FOS and analogs was observed. This claim is limited by existing techniques therefore cross-reactivity may exist with untested analogs.

Quality Assurance
Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.
Kit Components
Nuclear phosphoprotein which forms a tight but non-covalently linked complex with the JUN/AP-1 transcription factor. In the heterodimer, FOS and JUN/AP-1 basic regions each seems to interact with symmetrical DNA half sites. On TGF-beta activation, forms a multimeric SMAD3/SMAD4/JUN/FOS complex at the AP1/SMAD-binding site to regulate TGF-beta-mediated signaling. Has a critical function in regulating the development of cells destined to form and maintain the skeleton. P01100NM_005252NP_005243.1
