Product Description

LS-F22511 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human CPB2 / TAFI in samples of Plasma. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of CPB2 / TAFI as low as 3 nanograms per millilter.
About CPB2 / TAFI
Carboxypeptidases are enzymes that hydrolyze C-terminal peptide bonds. The carboxypeptidase family includes metallo-, serine, and cysteine carboxypeptidases. According to their substrate specificity, these enzymes are referred to as carboxypeptidase A (cleaving aliphatic residues) or carboxypeptidase B (cleaving basic amino residues).
