LS-F50797 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human CD66c / CEACAM6 in samples of Plasma, Serum and Tissue Homogenates. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of CD66c / CEACAM6 as low as 0.33 nanograms per millilter.
About CD66c / CEACAM6
CD66c / CEACAM6 encodes a protein that belongs to the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) family whose members are glycosyl phosphatidyl inositol (GPI) anchored cell surface glycoproteins. Members of this family play a role in cell adhesion and are widely used as tumor markers in serum immunoassay determinations of carcinoma. This gene affects the sensitivity of tumor cells to adenovirus infection. The protein encoded by this gene acts as a receptor for adherent-invasive E. P40199NM_002483NP_002474.4
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human CEACAM6. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human CEACAM6 and analogues was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between human CEACAM6 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.

Quality Assurance
Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.
