LS-F2939 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Mouse CD6 in samples of Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma and Serum. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of CD6 as low as 10 picograms per milliliter.
About CD6
CD6 is a protein found on the outer membrane of T-lymphocytes as well as some other immune cells. The encoded protein contains three scavenger receptor cysteine-rich (SRCR) domains and a binding site for an activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule. The gene product is important for continuation of T cell activation. This gene may be associated with susceptibility to multiple sclerosis (PMID: 19525953, 21849685). P30203NM_006725NP_006716.3
This kit is for the detection of natural and recombinant mouse CD6. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between CD6 and analogs was observed.

Quality Assurance
Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.
