LS-F2880 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human CD118 / LIF Receptor Alpha in samples of Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma and Serum. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of CD118 / LIF Receptor Alpha as low as 10 picograms per milliliter.
About CD118 / LIF Receptor Alpha
CD118 / LIF Receptor Alpha is a protein that belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. This protein combines with a high-affinity converter subunit, gp130, to form a receptor complex that mediates the action of the leukemia inhibitory factor, a polyfunctional cytokine that is involved in cellular differentiation, proliferation and survival in the adult and the embryo. Mutations in this gene cause Schwartz-Jampel syndrome type 2, a disease belonging to the group of the bent-bone dysplasias.P42702NM_002310NP_002301.1
This kit is for the detection of natural and recombinant human LIFR. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between LIFR and analogs was observed.

Quality Assurance
Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.
