c-Jun (Total) InstantOne™ ELISA

RUO: For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Description: The InstantOne™ ELISA is specifically engineered for accurate measurement of total human and mouse c-Jun in cell lysates. Detection of rat c-Jun is also expected. The InstantOne™ ELISA kit allows for fast analysis of samples in approximately one hour. All reagents used in a traditional sandwich ELISA are added in solution to a plate followed by a wash step and detection with the TMB colorimetric substrate.Jun is a member of the Activator Protein-1 (AP-1) family of transcription factors. AP-1 proteins can form homodimers (e.g., Jun/Jun) or heterodimers with other family members (e.g., Jun/Fos). AP-1 activity is highly regulated in normal cells by phosphorylation in response to growth factors, cytokines, and various other intra- and extracellular signals. Jun is phosphorylated at Ser63 and Ser73 by JNK, resulting in the ability of Jun/Jun or Jun/Fos dimers to bind DNA and modulate transcription.
