Product Description

LS-F26829 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human C4BPA / C4BP Alpha in samples of Plasma and Serum. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of C4BPA / C4BP Alpha as low as 1 nanograms per millilter.
About C4BPA / C4BP Alpha
C4BPA / C4BP Alpha is a member of a superfamily of proteins composed predominantly of tandemly arrayed short consensus repeats of approximately 60 amino acids. Along with a single, unique beta-chain, seven identical alpha-chains encoded by this gene assemble into the predominant isoform of C4b-binding protein, a multimeric protein that controls activation of the complement cascade through the classical pathway. Uniprot: P04003 NCBI: NM_000715 NP_000706.1
