产品活性：TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白最初被认为是一种诱导啮齿动物成纤维细胞生长的生长因子。TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白可将细胞阻滞在 G1 期。TGF beta 1/TGFB1 是内源性调节细胞凋亡的因子。重组人 TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白 是由 CHO 细胞表达的，A279-S390 片段的蛋白。
生物活性：HT-2 细胞测得的 ED50 <0.2 ng/mL。
体外：<0.2 EU/μg，通过 LAL 法测定。（内毒素水平）
体内：TGF beta 1/TGFB1 Protein (transforming growth factor beta 1) 是一种多功能细胞因子，几乎所有细胞都能合成。 TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白与 TGFbRII[3] 具有很强的结合能力。
不同物种的TGFb1蛋白的氨基酸序列非常稳定，由此得出的结论是，在进化过程中，TGFb只发生了轻微的改变，无论在人还是动物中，其功能都是相似的。 TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白作为无活性肽分泌，形成“潜在复合物”的一部分，该复合物由成熟的 TGFB1 二聚体组成，非共价结合至其潜伏相关肽 (LAP)，并通过 LAP 与潜在的 TGFB 结合蛋白质（LTBP）。活化的 TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白与普遍表达的细胞表面 TGFB1 I 型受体 (TGFBRI) 和 II 型受体 (TGFBRII) 结合，它们是跨膜丝氨酸/苏氨酸激酶[4]。
TGF beta 1/TGFB1蛋白调节细胞增殖、生长、分化和细胞运动。 TGFb1 具有免疫调节作用。 TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白具有促纤维化作用。 TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白作用可以是局部的和全身的。 TGF beta 1/TGFB1 蛋白在发育、纤维化和癌症中发挥驱动作用[4]。
