Human EGF Pre-Coated ELISA Kit
Product Details
EGF is a potent growth factor that stimulates the proliferation of various epidermal and epithelial cells. Additionally, EGF has been shown to inhibit gastric secretion, and to be involved in wound healing. EGF signals through a receptor known as c-erbB, which is a class I tyrosine kinase receptor. This receptor also binds with TGF-alpha; and VGF (vaccinia virus growth factor).
The BioGems Human EGF Pre-Coated ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is a solid phase immunoassay specially designed to measure Human EGF with a 96-well strip plate that is pre-coated with mouse monoclonal antibody specific for EGF. It contains E.coli-expressed recombinant Human EGF. The detection antibody is a biotinylated goat polyclonal antibody specific for EGF. The kit is analytically validated with ready to use reagents.
