一般描述
在诱导细胞凋亡或在坏死细胞释放细胞胞质组蛋白复合DNA片段（单核小体和寡核小体）后，可使用该试剂盒对该DNA片段进行相对定量。由于该检测不需要预先标记细胞，因此即使是在体外未增殖的细胞（例如新鲜分离的肿瘤细胞）中，也可以检测细胞凋亡过程中基因组DNA的核小体内降解情况。检测使用的抗体不是物种特异性的，因此该试剂盒可用于检测多种物种的细胞。
特异性
抗组蛋白可与多种物种（例如人、小鼠、大鼠、仓鼠、牛、负鼠、非洲爪蟾）的组蛋白H1、H2A、H2B、H3和H4反应。抗DNA可与单链DNA和双链DNA结合。因此，ELISA可检测多种物种的单核小体和寡核小体，且可用于检测不同细胞系统中的凋亡细胞死亡。
应用
仅供研究使用。不用于诊断操作。
