关于Btc：
Mouse Betacellulin is a single type I membrane protein which belongs to the EGF family of cytokines. EGF family has many members including EGF, TGF-a, Amphiregulin, HB-EGF, Epiregulin, Tomoregulin and the Neuregulins. Betacellulin is characterised by a six-cysteine consensus motif that forms three intra-molecular disulfide bonds crucial for binding the ErbB receptor family. Betacellulin is expressed in several tissues and tumor cells including kidney, uterus, liver, pancreas and small intestine. Betacellulin binds and activates ErbB-1 and ErbB-4 homodimers. Betacellulin is thought to play a role in the differentiation of pancreatic beta cells.Human and mouse mature BTC protein are 80% identical at the amino acid sequence level. Betacellulin is involved in many biological processes such as stimulating gastrointestinal growth. It is proteolytically processed from a larger membrane-anchored precursor and is a potent mitogen for a wide variety of cell types.

CDK2AP2, also known as DOC1R, is short for cyclin-dependent kinase 2-associated protein 2. The gene CDK2AP2 encodes this protein that interacts with cyclin-dependent kinase 2 associated protein 1. Pseudogenes associated with this gene are located on chromosomes 7 and 9. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene. It belongs to the CDK2AP family. CDK2AP1 (cyclin-dependent kinase 2-associated protein 1), corresponding to the gene do*(代"c")-1 (deleted in oral cancer 1), is a tumor suppressor protein. The do*(代"c")-1 gene is absent or down-regulated in hamster oral cancer cells and in many other cancer cell types. The ubiquitously expressed CDK2AP1 protein is the only known specific inhibitor of CDK2, making it an important component of cell cycle regulation during G(1)-to-S phase transition.

Differential screening-selected gene aberrative in neuroblastoma (DAN) is a member of the DAN family of secreted glycoproteins. DAN family antagonists are characterized by a DAN domain that contains a cystine knot motif which is essential for binding to BMP ligands. Members of this family include DAN, gremlin, protein related to DAN and cerberus (PRDC), cerberus, sclerostin (SOST) and uterine sensitization-associated gene 1 protein, and control diverse processes in growth, development and the cell cycle. It has also been reported that DAN family plays crucial role in early mouse embryo development by inhibiting the action of bone morphogenic proteins and modulating the action of transforming growth factor-β superfamily members. DAN is synthesized by small-to intermediate-sized DRG neurons and transported to the sensory nerve terminals in the skin or to the sensory nerve terminals in the dorsal horn. It has been reported that DAN is ubiquitously expressed in adult rat and human tissues. Morphological studies have revealed that, in adult rat, DAN mRNA is expressed ubiquitously in lung and brain, but not in liver.
