关于SDCBP/Syntenin-1：
Syntenin-1 is a molecule linking syndecan-mediated signaling to the cytoskeleton. Syntenin-1 is primarily localized to membrane-associated adherens junctions and focal adhesions but also found at the endoplasmic reticulum and nucleus. The syntenin protein contains tandemly repeated PDZ domains that bind the cytoplasmic, C-terminal domains of a variety of transmembrane proteins. Syntenin-1 may affect cytoskeletal-membrane organization, cell adhesion, protein trafficking, and the activation of transcription factors. It seems to function as an adapter protein, in adherens junctions may function to couple syndecans to cytoskeletal proteins or signaling components. Syntenin-1 seems to couple transcription factor SOX4 to the IL-5 receptor (IL5RA) and play a role in vesicular trafficking.

VNN2 is a GPI-anchored cell surface molecule that plays a role in transendothelial migration of neutrophils. VNN2 involved in the thymus homing of bone marrow cells. In addition, VNN2 may regulate beta-2 integrin-mediated cell adhesion, migration and motility of neutrophil.

Alpha-carbonic anhydrase is a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Furthermore, Alpha-carbonic anhydrase is associated with many biological processes, including calcification, respiration, bone resorption, acid-base balance and the formation of aqueous humor. CA7 is activated by histamine, L-adrenaline, L- and D-histidine, and L- and D-phenylalanine, but it is inhibited coumarins, sulfonamide derivatives such as acetazolamide (AZA) by saccharin and Foscarnet.
