关于CD5：
CD5 is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the conserved scavenger receptor cysteine-rich (SRCR) superfamily and expressed on thymocytes, peripheral T cells and a subset of B cells (B1-a). Moreover, CD5 also was found expressed in small lymphocytic lymphoma, hairy cell leukaemia and mantle cell lymphoma cells. The long cytoplasmic tail of CD5 has no intrinsic enzymatic activity, but contains four tyrosine phosphorylation sites, including an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based (ITAM)-like motif (pseudo-ITAM) and an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory (ITIM)-like motif (pseudo-ITIM), as well as multiple potential serine and threonine phosphorylation sites. It physically associates with the T cell antigen receptor (TCR) and B cell antigen receptor (BCR), where it negatively modulates the activation and differentiation signals transduced by these receptors. CD5 also plays an important role in protection from activation-induced cell death and in the recognition of pathogen associated molecular patterns (PAMPS) present on fungal surfaces.

关于Tryptophan synthase ：
Tryptophan synthase is a multienzyme α2β2 complex composed of two protein subunit. Tryptophan synthase catalyzes the last two steps in the synthesis of L-tryptophan (L-Trp). The α-subunit catalyzes cleavage of 3-indole-d-glycerol 3′-phosphate (IGP) to give indole and D-glyceraldehyde 3′-phosphate (G3P). Indole is then transferred through a 25-Å hydrophobic tunnel to the β-subunit. The β2 subunit contains pyridoxal 5-phosphate and catalyzes several pyridoxal 5-phosphate-dependent reactions, including/3-elimination reactions 6 and a thiol-dependent transamination reaction. This enzyme is commonly found in Eubacteria, Archaebacteria, Protista, Fungi, and Plantae, but is absent from Animalia. As humans do not have tryptophan synthase, this enzyme has been explored as a potential drug target.

Interleukin 25 (IL-25) belongs to the Interleukin 17 (IL-17) family of proteins, which is comprised of six members (IL-17, IL-17B through IL-17F). These proteins are secreted and are structurally related by sharing a conserved cysteine-knot fold near the C-terminus, but have considerable sequence divergence at the N-terminus. With the exception of IL-17B, which exists as a non-covalently linked dimer, all IL-17 family members are disulfide-linked dimers. IL-17 family proteins are pro-inflammatory cytokines that induce local cytokine production and are involved in the regulation of immune functions. Human interleukin-17E (IL17E), also referred to as Interleukin-25 (IL25), is a distinct member of the IL17 cytokine family comprised of at least six members sharing a conserved cysteine-knot structure but divergent at the N-terminus. IL25 is a glycoprotein secreted as dimers by innate effector eosinophils and basophils, and present at very low levels in various peripheral tissues. Human IL-17E cDNA encodes a 177 amino acid residues precursor protein with a putative 32 amino acid signal peptide.
