靶点/蛋白:Rat anti-Mouse CD123 antibody, clone 5B11 recognizes murine Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha, also known as CD123. CD123 is a 396 amino acid ~ 70 kDa single pass, type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on haematopoietic progenitors and most myeloid cells including basophils and mast cells. Certain mouse strains including A/J, AKR/J and NZB/B1NJ are reported to have low levels of CD123 expression due to aberrant splicing of the IL-3R alpha subunit gene.In mouse, CD123 can associate with either the common beta subunit CDw131 or with the murine IL-3 beta subunit to form a high affinity receptor for IL-3. IL-3 can bind to CD123 itself but with low affinity. Binding of IL-3 to the IL-3 receptor complex induces the proliferation and differentiation of haematopoietic cells.Rat anti-Mouse CD123 antibody, clone 5B11 does not block the binding of IL-3 to the high affinity IL-3 receptor.
