Carbonic Anhydrase 7 (CA7) is a member of the alpha-carbonic anhydrase family. Alpha-carbonic anhydrase is a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Furthermore, Alpha-carbonic anhydrase is associated with many biological processes, including calcification, respiration, bone resorption, acid-base balance and the formation of aqueous humor. CA7 is activated by histamine, L-adrenaline, L- and D-histidine, and L- and D-phenylalanine, but it is inhibited coumarins, sulfonamide derivatives such as acetazolamide (AZA) by saccharin and Foscarnet.

LYPLA2 has hydrolase activity that converts Palmitoyl-protein to palmitate and protein. LYPLA2 regulates the multifunctional lysophospholipids by acting on biological membranes. Cluster of Differentiation 80, also called B7-1, is a member of cell surface immunoglobulin superfamily which plays key, yet distinct roles in the activation of T cells. Mouse CD80 consists of an extracellular domain (ECD) with twoimmunoglobulin-like domains, transmembrane segment, and cytoplasmic domain. B7-1/CD80 and B7-2/CD86, together with their receptors CD28 and CTLA4, constitute one of the dominant co-stimulatory pathways that regulate T- and B- cell responses. CD80 is mostly expressed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells including activated B cells, macrophages and dendritic cells. Although both CTLA-4 and CD28 can bind to the same ligands, CTLA-4 binds to B7-1 and B7-2 with a 20-100 fold higher affinity than CD28 and is involved in the down-regulation of the immune response.

Mouse Apoptosis-mediating surface antigen FAS (Fas) belongs to the death receptor subfamily of the TNF receptor superfamily and is designated TNFRSF6. Mouse Fas contains 1 death domain and 3 TNFR-Cys repeats. It detected in various tissues including thymus, liver, lung, heart, and adult ovary. As a receptor for TNFSF6/FASLG, The adapter molecule FADD recruits caspase-8 to the activated receptor. The resulting death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs caspase-8 proteolytic activation which initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases mediating apoptosis. FAS-mediated apoptosis may have a role in the induction of peripheral tolerance, in the antigen-stimulated suicide of mature T-cells, or both.
