关于LAIR2：
Leukocyte-Associated Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor 2 (LAIR2) is a secreted, 131 amino acid protein that contains one Ig-like C2 type domain, making it a member of the Ig superfamily. When comp*(代"a")red to LAIR-1, its transmembrane counterpart, it shares 83% amino acid identity across the signal sequence and extracellular domains; although one is secreted and one is membrane-bound, the two LAIR proteins are thought to have arisen from a common gene ancestor and appear to share similar adhesion profiles. This suggests that LAIR-2 may compete with LAIR-1 for ligand binding. A 114 amino acid alternate splice form of LAIR-2 is truncated at the C terminus, but retains the entire Ig domain. The expression profile of these splice forms, and the presence of orthologs in other species, have not been reported.

关于IL-11：
Interleukin-11(IL-11) is a secreted protein and belongs to the IL-6 superfamily. IL-11 has been demonstrated to improve platelet recovery after chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia, induceacute phase proteins, modulate antigen-antibody responses, participate in the regulation of bone cellproliferation and differentiation and could be use as a therapeutic for osteoporosis. IL-11 stimulates the growth of certain lymphocytes and, in the murine model, stimulates an increase in the cortical thickness and strength of long bones. In addition to having lymphopoietic/hematopoietic and osteotrophic properties, it has functions in many other tissues, including the brain, gut, testis and bone.

1、简便：与目前通用的最有效的热启动酶反应条件一致，不需要改变PCR程序。
2、高效：有效减少了杂带及拖带产生，从而实现高特异性的PCR。
3、灵敏：可从0.05ng人基因组DNA模板中扩增出特定基因片段。（图例一）

应用实例：


图例一） 50μl扩增体系中，以50ng人基因组DNA为模板，HotStart Taq可对特定基因（170bp）进行高特异性扩增。
泳道M：DNA Ladder 2000； 泳道1、2：Taq酶 1.25U； 泳道3、4： Hot Start Taq酶 1.25U

图例二）热启动效果检测。左 1-6:94度10分钟热激活后，目的基因扩增；
右1-6：无热激活步骤直接 PCR。PCR扩增条件：94度5秒->57 度20秒->72度20秒，25个循环。结 论：未做热激活时，Taq酶活性被完 全抑制。（1-6酶用量分别为5U,2.5U,1.25U,0.625U,0.312U,0.156U）

Apurinic-Apyrimidinic Endonuclease 1 (APE1) is required for efficient DNA base excision repair.
