本产品是专为两步法qRT-PCR实验设计的高灵敏度RT-PCR反应系统和高扩增效率的荧光定量PCR检测试剂盒。该反转录系统可以从极低量的总RNA或poly(A) mRNA合成第一链cDNA，无需额外添加RNase抑制剂，合成的cDNA产量更高，长度可达15 kb。2×RealStar Green Mixture 中的HotStartTaq DNA Polymerase高温加热前，抗Taq单克隆抗体与Taq 酶结合，抑制Taq酶的聚合酶活性，从而抑制在低温条件下出现的由引物和模板DNA非特异性杂交或引物二聚体引起的非特异性扩增。抗Taq单克隆抗体在PCR反应第一循环的变性步骤中已完全失活，不会阻碍之后的Taq Polymerase反应，大大提高了PCR反应的灵敏度及特异性，所含的SYBR Green I荧光染料可以与所有的DNA双链相结合，使该产品可以用于多种不同靶序列的检测。同时，该产品具有高特异性和高灵敏度的特点，即使极低丰度的基因也能得到有效扩增。
