单克隆抗体是由单一B细胞克隆产生的高度均一、仅针对某一特定抗原表位的抗体，称为单克隆抗体。通常采用杂交瘤技术来制备，杂交瘤（hybridoma）抗体技术是在细胞融合技术的基础上，将具有分泌特异性抗体能力的致敏B细胞和具有无限繁殖能力的骨髓瘤细胞融合为B细胞杂交瘤。用具备这种特性的单个杂交瘤细胞培养成细胞群，可制备针对一种抗原表位的特异性抗体即单克隆抗体。

单克隆抗体比多克隆抗体具有许多优点，包括：

1. 高亲和力
2. 没有污染的抗体
3. 弱抗原鉴定
4. 优秀的批处理重复性

我们有超过40年生产血型试剂的经验，15年的在常规的测试和制造sifin单克隆抗体的成功使用。从 80 年代中期免疫制剂的生产就开始采用杂交瘤细胞培养技术作为核心技术。单克隆抗体被引入传统的血型分型产品和沙门氏菌属，志贺氏菌属，大肠杆菌包括肠出血性大肠杆菌诊断用的检测试剂中。
特别是，沙门氏菌的诊断，我们已经将大部分凝集试剂从多克隆抗体转换为单克隆抗体，这是常规检验和流行病学的里程碑。
