      属为中国的特有属。本科最大的属是马先蒿属,在500种以上,约2/3的种类产于中国。   本科作药用植物的有毛蕊花属、玄参属、母草属、通泉草属、毛地黄属、地黄属、腹水草属、婆婆纳属、兔耳草属、马先蒿属、阴行草属等。经济植物有泡桐属。观赏植物有金鱼草属、爆仗竹属、五蕊花属等。马先蒿属及通泉草属的花小巧玲珑,叶型优美,可作盆景。   代表种 玄参 中国特有种,分布北起河北、山西,南达广东,西南至四川、贵州,并有栽培(图1)。多年生高大草本;根粗大;茎四菱形
