In Vitro: COX/5-LO-IN-1 reduces the biosynthesis of leukotrienes B4, C4, D4, and E4 and cyclooxygenase products such as prostaglandins and thromboxane and are useful in the treatment of inflammatory and allergic disease states. COX/5-LO-IN-1 shows inhibitory activities against 5-lipoxygenase, with IC50 of 0.2 μM in human whole blood.
