This gene encodes a member of the WD repeat protein family. WD repeats are minimally conserved regions of approximately 40 amino acids typically bracketed by gly-his and trp-asp (GH-WD), which may facilitate formation of heterotrimeric or multiprotein complexes. Members of this family are involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, apoptosis, and gene regulation. This protein contains 7 WD repeats. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified. - See more at: http://www.avivasysbio.com/sd/tds/html_datasheet.php?sku=OADC00246
Human Hela cells
Western blot analysis using the Aviva antibody directed against WDR5r. Western blot was performed using nuclear extracts from HeLa cells (HeLa NE, 20 ug) and the Aviva antibody against WDR5 diluted 1:1,000 in TBS-Tween containing 5% skim milk. The molecular weight marker (in kDa) is shown on the left; the location of the protein of interest is indicated on the right.
Human Hela cells
Western blot analysis using the Aviva antibody directed against WDR5r. Western blot was performed using the Aviva antibody against WDR5 diluted 1:1000 in TBS-Tween containing 5% skim milk on the purified recombinant protein (lanes 1-3), ectopically expressed FLAG-tagged WDR5 (WDR5-F) which was first immunoprecipitated with anti-FLAG antibody (lane 4) and nuclear extracts from HeLa (lane 6) and HEK293 cells (lane 7). Lane 5 (MOCK) represents a negative control. A molecular weight marker is shown on the left.
