Recombinant Human Transaldolase
Synonyms TAL, TAL-H, TALDOR, TALH, TALDO1.
Introduction TALDO1 is a important enzyme of the non-oxidative pentose phosphate pathway supplying ribose-5-phosphate for nucleic acid synthesis and NADPH for lipid biosynthesis. TALDO1 delivers a dihydroxyacetone group from donor compounds (fructose 6-phosphate or sedoheptulose 7-phosphate) to aldehyde acceptor compounds. TALDO1 is expressed at selectively great levels in oligodendrocytes of the brain. TALDO1 Deficiency results in accumulation of erythritol, D-arabitol, and ribitol.
Recombinant Human TransaldolaseDescription TALDO1 Human Recombinant protein produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 357 amino acids (1-337) and having a molecular mass of 39.7 kDa. TALDO1 is fused to 20 amino acid His Tag at N-terminus and is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Source Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearence Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Formulation TALDO1 1mg/ml protein solution contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) and 10% glycerol.
Recombinant Human TransaldolaseStability TALDO1 Human Recombinant although stable at 4℃ for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18℃.
Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
