Recombinant Human Deoxyhypusine Synthase
Synonyms MIG13, EC 2.5.1.46, Deoxyhypusine synthase, DHS, DHPS, DS.
Introduction DHPS is vital for the first step of hypusine biosynthesis. DHPS catalyzes the NAD-dependent transfer of the butylamine moiety of spermidine to the epsilon-amino group of a specific lysine residue of the EIF5A precursor protein to form the intermediate deoxyhypusine residue.
Description DHPS Human Recombinant fused to 20 amino acid His Tag at N-terminal produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 389 amino acids (1-369 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 43.1 kDa. The DHPS is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Recombinant Human Deoxyhypusine SynthaseSource Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance Sterile Filtered clear colorless solution.
Formulation The DHPS solution contains 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8, 0.1M NaCl and 20% glycerol.
Stability DHPS Recombinant Human although stable at 4°C for 30 days, should be stored desiccated below -20°C for periods greater than 30 days. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
