Monoclonal Antibody against Tau 13 Clone TAU-13 Form Ascites Host Mouse Species Reactivity Tau 13 Monoclonal AntibodyHuman IsoType IgG1 [Ab] 3-5 mg/mL Specificity Tau 13 is a mouse monoclonal antibody (MAb) that binds to human tau and is able to stain brain tissue early in Alzheimer’s disease. Tau 13 is specific for human tau; it does not react with bovine, murine or rat tau. Preliminary assignment of its epitope indicates that it maps to amino acid residues 2-18 on the longest isoform of human tau. Uses These antibodies are effective in immunoblotting, immunostaining, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution Tau 13 Monoclonal AntibodyThe optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition.
