This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone Alz 40-42 Form Affinity Purified Antibody (in PBS containing 0.1% BSA and 0.01% thimerosal) Host Beta Amyloid Polyclonal Antibody, PurifiedRabbit Species Reactivity Human, Chicken, Dog [Ab] 0.96 mg/mL, The antibody should be resuspended in 50 uL sterile water to acheive this concentration. Specificity Alzheimer’s disease is characterized by the accumulation of aggregated Amyloid Beta (Aβ) peptides in senile plaques and vascular deposits. Aβ peptides are derived from amyloid precursor proteins (APPs) through sequential proteolytic cleavage of APP by β-secretases and gamma-secretases generating diverse species of Aβ with differential propensities to fibrillize and deposit in Senile Plaques. PRB-465P polylconal antibody recognizes both the Amyloid Beta (Aβ) 1-40 and 1-42. Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA.
