This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Form Antiserum Host Beta Amyloid 1-42 Polyclonal AntibodyRabbit Species Reactivity Human Specificity Alzheimer’s disease is characterized by the accumulation of aggregated Aβ peptides in senile plaques and vascular deposits. Aβ peptides are derived from amyloid precursor proteins (APPs) through sequential proteolytic cleavage of APP by β-secretases and gamma-secretases generating diverse species of Aβ with differential propensities to fibrillize and deposit in Senile Plaques. Amyloid beta 1-42 polylconal antibody recognizes the Amyloid beta (Aβ) 1-42 of the human beta amyloid peptide and has minimal cross reaction with Amyloid Beta 1-40. as determined by Western Blot. Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting. Suggested Working Dilution Beta Amyloid 1-42 Polyclonal AntibodyThe optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - Western blot: 1:1,000*
