Description 
Monoclonal Antibody against Bcl-XL Clone 2H12 Form Ascites Host Mouse Species Reactivity Mouse, Human, Rat IsoType Bcl-XL Monoclonal AntibodyIgG2a [Ab] 3-5 mg/mL Specificity Bcl-2, Bcl-XL, and Bax are members of the bcl-2 family of proteins that regulate apoptosis. Some family members like Bcl-2, Bcl-XL inhibit apoptosis and other members such as Bax and Bcl-XS function to promote apoptosis. It appears that homodimerization and heterodimerization between the various death promoting and death inhibiting family members regulate the activation of caspases that in turn execute the cell death program.
Anti-Bcl-XL was generated by immunizing mice with a KLH-conjugated peptide having a sequence corresponding to amino acids 3-14 shared by both human and murine Bcl-XL (CQSNRELVVDFLS).Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation. Suggested Working Dilution Bcl-XL Monoclonal AntibodyThe optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.
