Normal Serum Block

This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Form Serum diluted in PBS/Azide Host Goat Specificity Normal Serum Block, 50 mL (SIGNET)Normal goat serum is used as a blocking solution in immunohistochemistry. It is effective in reducing non-specific binding of proteins. For example, Normal Serum Block prevents the secondary antibody from cross reacting with endogenous immunoglobulins in the tissue. The use of normal serum block before the application of primary antibody also eliminates Fc receptor binding of both the primary and secondary antibody. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. Storage Store between 2-8°C.
