Description 
Polyclonal Antibody against Pericentrin Form Antiserum Host Rabbit Species Reactivity Vertebrate, Insect, Ciliate, Amoeba Flagellate Specificity Pericentrin is one of the few centrosome proteins identified to date. It is a largely α-helical, highly conserved, 220kD coiled-coil protein. This antibody was generated against a fusion protein containing ~60kD of pericentrin. Uses Pericentrin Polyclonal Antibody This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation and immuonogold electron microscopy. The antibody also blocks pericentrin function in in-vitro assays for microtubule nucleation and elongation. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use. Notes *Predicted MW = 220 kD. Western blots on whole cell lysates will not detect pericentrin.
**Recommend using methanol fixation for IF.Storage Store at -20°C. It is suggested that the total volume be divided into useable aliquots upon initial thaw.
