核黄素是一种可溶于水的必需维生素。牛奶和鸡蛋是它的主要来源。核黄素通常与所有组织中的酶结合。核黄素在血浆中定位时,会与白蛋白和特异性免疫球蛋白结合。
应用:(-)-核黄素已用于实验小鼠腹腔注射给药,以研究其对大脑中动脉阻塞卒中的保护作用。它也可与克雷布斯液一起使用,以体外模拟类缺血状态。
生化/生理作用:核黄素是活性辅酶因子核黄素 5′ -单磷酸盐(也称为黄素单核苷酸或FMN)和黄素腺嘌呤二核苷酸(FAD)的前体。饮食中的核黄素缺乏会导致一种称为阿里波黄素沉积症的综合征,其症状包括唇炎、口角炎、舌炎、角膜炎和脂溢性皮炎。核黄素具有抗肿瘤发展和心血管疾病的保护作用。其缺乏常影响涉及氧化还原反应的代谢。核黄素对铁的吸收、胃肠道发育、神经发生、角膜血管化和角膜混浊都有重要作用。
