【背景资料】：FK2 is the Gold Standard ubiquitin monoclonal antibody, widely used and cited, that detects ubiquitinated proteins (mono- and poly-ubiquitinated) and ubiquitin chains but does not detect free ubiquitin. FK2 antibody conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) by a proprietary method to give enhanced detection sensitivity and convenient application. Ubiquitin modification of cellular proteins has been shown to be involved with a wide range of biochemical processes including proteasomal degradation, signal transduction, DNA repair, endocytosis and autophagy.
