5X Passive Lysis Buffer is concentrated lysis buffer designed for use with our Renilla Luciferase Assays when additional volumes of lysis buffer are required.

Our kits are supplied with sufficient 5X Passive Lysis Buffer to complete the stated number of assays using 96-well to 24-well plates. 5X Passive Lysis Buffer is sold separately for use with the kits when more lysis buffer (e.g., >100 uL per well) is required. If you require additional lysis buffer for use with Firefly & Renilla Luciferase Single Tube Assay Kit (30081), use 1X Passive Lysis Buffer 2.0 (99821-100mL). If you require additional lysis buffer for use with Firefly Luciferase Assay Kit 2.0 (30085) or Firefly Luciferase Assay Kit (Lyophilized) (30075), use 5X Firefly Luciferase Lysis Buffer (99923).
