RBC depleted leukocytes are collected from cord blood by sedimentation of red blood cells using HetaSep. Then, the granulocytes are isolated by density gradient separation and further processed to deplete any remaining RBC. Finally, the neutrophils are isolated using an indirect immunomagnetic labeling system.Note: Polymorphonuclear Neutrophils (PMN) are the most abundant white blood cells in human peripheral blood. The average lifespan of non-activated PMN is approximately 12 to 24 hours. Generally, our PMN activation response is greater than 50% when stimulated with fMLP or LPS chemokines. Fresh PMN are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight for nextday morning delivery.
