Detection of Collagen I+ cellsClone REAL1355 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Collagen I antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL1355 recognizes Collagen I also known as pro-alpha1(I) chain, a member of group I collagen (fibrillar forming collagen). Collagen I is encoded by the COL1A1 gene and forms the fibrils of tendon, dermis, cornea and bones. In bones the fibrils are mineralized with calcium hydroxyapatite. Mutations in the COL1A1 gene are associated with Osteogenesis,the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and different types of cancers. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). |
