Detection of CD56 (NCAM1)+ cellsClone REAL1142 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD56 (NCAM1) antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REA1142 recognizes the human CD56 (NCAM1) antigen, a glycoprotein of the Ig-superfamily, also known as neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM), which plays a role in cell-to-cell adhesion and cell-matrix interactions during embryonic development. Expression is found in blood on all resting and activated NK cells and on a minor subset of CD3+ T cells. It is also expressed in brain (cerebellum and cortex) and at neuromuscular junctions. CD56 (NCAM1) expression is seen in solid tumors and hematological malignancies including multiple myeloma and leukemia. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
