CD50, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, is closely related to ICAM-1 and consists of five immunoglobulin domains. CD50 is expressed on leukocytes. CD50 is a ligand for CD11a (leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein) and is also associated with the amino-terminal domain of ERM proteins and moesin.
