Identification and enumeration of CD45.2+ cells by flow cytometryClone REA1223 reacts with the murine CD45.2 alloantigen of CD45, a membrane glycoprotein also known as leukocyte common antigen or Ly-5. CD45.2 is expressed by all leukocytes of most mouse strains (e.g. BALB/c, CBA/Ca, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL, C57BR, C57L, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, NZB, SWR, 129). CD45 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family and is involved in the regulation of T and B cell antigen receptor signaling. The antibody clone REA1223 does not react with the CD45.1 alloantigen. | Additional information: Clone REA1223 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
