Identification and enumeration of CD261+ cells by flow cytometryClone REA1234 recognizes the human antigen CD261, which is also known as DR4 or as TRAIL-R1. CD261 belongs to the TNF receptor family and is a receptor for TNFSF10/ Trail. It promotes the activation of NF-kappa-B and induces TRAIL-mediated apoptosis. CD261 is expressed on spleen, peripheral blood leukocytes, small intestine and thymus, but also in K-562 erythroleukemia cells, MCF-7 breast carcinoma cells and activated T-cells. | Additional information: Clone REA1234 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
