Identification and enumeration of CD252 (OX40L)+ cellsClone REA1423 recognizes the human CD252 (OX40L), a cytokine of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. It is encoded by the TNFSF4 gene. CD252 (OX40L) functions in T cell antigen-presenting cell (APC) interactions and mediates adhesion of activated T cells to endothelial cells. CD252 (OX40L) is expressed on activated B cells, activated endothelial cells, mature dendritic cells, activated CTLs, activated mast cells, and airway smooth muscle cells. Polymorphisms in this gene have been associated with Sjogren's syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. | Additional information: Clone REA1423 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
