Detection of Tyrosine Hydroxylase+ cellsClone REA1159 recognizes the Tyrosine Hydroxylase, a tetrahydrobiopterin-requiring, iron-containing monooxygenase, which belongs to the family of aromatic amino acid hydroxylases (AAAHs). It is expressed in the central nervous system (CNS), peripheral sympathetic neurons and the adrenal medulla and plays an essential role in the physiology of adrenergic neurons and in the biosynthesis of dopamine, adrenaline and norepinephrine from tyrosine. | Additional information: Clone REA1159 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
