Identification and enumeration of TdT+ cells by flow cytometryClone REA1200 recognizes terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT), a template independent, 60 kDa DNA polymerase. TdT catalyzes addition of deoxynucleotides to the 3'-OH terminus of oligonucleotide primer segments. Expression of TdT is found in immature lymphocytes during early differentiation where it is involved in generating antigen receptor diversity by mediating Ig gene rearrangement. | Additional information: Clone REA1200 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
