Identification and enumeration of THEMIS+ cells by flow cytometryClone REA659 recognizes the mouse THEMIS antigen, a cytosolic protein also known as Gasp or Grb2-associating protein. THEMIS is only expressed in T cells, highly expressed in thymocytes, especially in immature CD4+/CD8+ thymocytes, and lower expressed in mature T cells. THEMIS plays an important role in positive selection and in the development of single-positive thymocytes. | Additional information: Clone REA659 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
