Identification and enumeration of NF-κB p65 pS529+ cells by mass cytometryClone REA348 recognizes the human NF-κB p65 antigen phosphorylated at serine 529 (pS529). NF-κB is a pleiotropic transcription factor present in almost all cell types and is the endpoint of a series of signal transduction events that are initiated by a vast array of stimuli related to many biological processes such as inflammation, immunity, differentiation, cell growth, tumorigenesis, and apoptosis. It is a homo- or heterodimeric complex and the heterodimeric p65-p50 complex is the most abundant one. Optimal induction of NF-κB target genes also requires phosphorylation of NF-κB proteins, such as p65, within their transactivation domain by a variety of kinases in response to distinct stimuli. | Additional information: Clone REA348 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
