Detection of human CD268+ cellsThe monoclonal antibody 11C1 reacts with the B cell–activating factor receptor (BAFF-R), also known as BAFF receptor 3 (BR3) or CD268. It is a 19 kDa type III transmembrane protein which belongs to the TNF receptor superfamily and is mainly expressed on B cells. BAFF-R plays an important role in B cell differentiation and promotes survival and activation of B cells.
