Identification and enumeration of c-Met+ cells by flow cytometryClone REA1332 recognizes the human c-Met single pass tyrosine-protein kinase, which binds its ligand Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF). c-Met is involved in different physiological processes including proliferation, scattering, morphogenesis and survival. c-Met is mainly expressed in endothel and epithelial cells and is encoded by MET, which is a protooncogen. Mutations in MET have been implicated in the development of several malignancies, e.g. renal cell carcinoma (RCC), lung cancers, hepatocellular tumors and cancers of stomach, breast, and brain. | Additional information: Clone REA1332 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
