Identification and enumeration of claudin-4+ cells by flow cytometryClone REA898 recognizes the human claudin-4 antigen, an integral membrane protein with four transmembrane segments, which is a component of the claudin family of epithelial tight junction proteins. Claudin is found in the intestinal mucosa epithelium and is highly expressed in pancreatic cancer. In association with EphA2 Claudin-4 is inveolved in the regulation of tight juctions and it plays a role in epithelial tissue development. | Additional information: Clone REA898 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
